Dhaka: The nominated head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, arrived in Dhaka from Paris.
According to the media of Bangladesh, Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Younis arrived in Dhaka at 2 pm local time. Dr. Muhammad Younis has been appointed as the head of the interim government after the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Hasina Wajid, fled to India. The leaders of the Student Movement, which overthrew Hasina Wajid's government in Bangladesh, demanded the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Younis as its head.
