All 62 killed in Brazil plane crash
Sao Paulo: All 62 people on board a Passenger Plane from Parana to São Paulo crashed in Brazil.
Authorities at the scene said all those on board the crashed plane had been killed, Reuters reported.
Videos surfaced on social media showing the plane wobbling down among the trees and smoke rising.
Civil administration officials in Wellenhas said none of the people on board survived and that only one house was damaged and no civilians were harmed.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula attended a ceremony where he said the news of the plane crash had been received and asked the collection to observe a minute's silence.
The airline Wipas said in a statement that the plane had taken off from Caskeville in Parana state for Sao Paulo's main airport but crashed in Venhedo, 80 kilometers northwest of Sao Paulo.
No further details about the plane crash could be provided, the statement said.
