After nearly 12 years of being introduced for iOS devices, Apple Maps has finally been introduced to a web version.
Apple has announced that Apple Maps has been introduced initially in beta version.
According to the company, users can now use Apple Maps on Mac or Windows computers.
For this they need to type beta.maps.apple.com URL in their web browser and press enter.
The web version of Apple Maps is currently available on Safari, Chrome and Edge browsers.
The experience of using Apple Maps in the web version is similar to that of iOS devices and you can also search for addresses.
Likewise, driving and walking directions can be found, while business phone numbers, hours of operation, and payment options can also be viewed.
According to the company, Look around (which is similar to Street View in Apple Maps) and other Apple Maps features available on iPhones will be rolled out to the web version in the next few months.
Apple Maps will be rolled out in other regions soon, the company said.
